Sioux Peto uses found objects to create abstract assemblages, which emphasise her concerns for the future of our environment raising awareness on issues such as recycling. Her work is mainly sculptural but often incorporates photography, based on the materials she finds while out walking her dog in the contrasting Kent countryside.

Sioux organises recycling upcycling workshops for educational purposes and for fun! both at the Polka Dot and off site. At festivals, with community groups and schools.

Sioux also runs LB Graphics a creative Art and Design company and is heavily involved with the Swale Arts Forum presently as Chair, 795 the visual arts group for Sittingbourne Artists and is gallery co-ordinator at the Polka Dot.
