The Polka Dot is lucky to have a peaceful and secluded garden at the back of the premises. Colin and Sioux use this to it full potential as a backdrop for their work. They have been collaborating together for the past 3 years and during the summer months the garden is transformed into a magical wonderland.
Their projects combine their concerns for the environment to create large-scale installation works that utilise both their skills. These projects are about awareness of the problems we face and can also be seen in nearby woods or visiting exhibitions, schools and festivals throughout the year.
Please see our 2010 project which won a Silver award from Swale in Bloom and Kent Wildlife Trust and was part funded by Swale Arts Grants.
